If your a talented fashion addict like me, you more than likely have you eyes set on the latest Gucci shoes and never have the time to work as a babysitter or get a job because your involved in so much activities. Here are ten ways to make good money as a busy teenager 2017.

Etsy

If your an artist, your in luck. Selling your art on Etsy can attract a big crowd of people to your services. If your not an artist, don't stress! You can make pressed flower art for example or beaded necklaces for a reasonable price. Creating art is a good way for a busy student/teenager to make money, (especially if your an art student such as I am.) If you are an art student, can take your assignments and turn them into cash!

Start a Blog

Blogs aren't just for Pinterest moms or top notch celebrities. Teens can do them to! Teenagers need a lot of hacks and tips to get through high school and middle school. It is a good job to go into as a teenager since you don't have to worry about paying for bills. Many bloggers make decent money as a adult, but as a teenager, it is gold! Why stress about working several hours a day at a fast food restaurant when you can make twice as much income as a blogger for a couple of hours out of a week? Being a blogger doesn't come easy of course, but the reward in the end is satisfying. Being a blogger can become a positive side job going into college and as a adult going into the real world!

Become an Instagram Photographer

If you have a good camera or the latest iPhone, your in luck. Homecoming and Prom are the biggest events of a teenagers life and it need to be taken pictures of. Photographers can cost a lot of money and can take time to set up a date with. Being a photographer in your school can give you good income annually for school events. It would be a plus being a school photographer because you will get to meet new people in your school and make a time that will work best for them understanding the predicament they may be in since they go to your school.

Sell Your Art on Society6

This one is one of my personal favorites because you can take one piece of art or a photograph you took and make good money off it on a variety of merchandise. Some of the merchandise consist of laptop sleeves, tote bag, bath mat, framed art print, etc. Society6 is a good way to get your art and photography out there and make good money!

Design Jewelry and Dresses for School Events

You don't have to be a professional jewelry designer to create beautiful jewelry. Taking a class at your local Michael's or asking assistance from a experienced relative can help you create a money making business. Teenage girls do not want to come to prom or homecoming with the same jewelry, dress, or shoes. They will look for something beautiful and unique that no one else has. Make sure your prices are reasonable and get to know people out of your clique. After all, they may come to you searching for what products you have!

Do Hair for Actors/Actresses of School Plays

In your local county, there may be a cosmetology class like there was for me. The cosmetology class I took lasted two weeks where I learned every basics of hair design and nails. I learned so much about hair that I felt as though I could do my friends hair. I strongly advise you have more than two weeks of experience before doing a real persons hair, (lol.) I never have done anyone's hair before because the girl I was suppose to do didn't come to class that day. I plan to pick it up again because I realized that since my school is the school of arts, there was a stack of cash laying right under my nose. I could style hair for girls in the school plays! They needed someone to help them because each of them were already busy rehearsing their lines and getting in their costumes seconds before the show. They need someone back there to help them with their hairs to take some stress off their backs. If your a teenager and have experienced in hair, this may be the perfect job for you. It may even play well if your the class treasurer who has to stay behind for each school events.

Do a Summer Part Time Job at an Art Store

If your an artist like me, working part time at your local art store can be a benefit for school. You can get discounts of the millions of art supplies that you have to get from your teachers. You can learn new things about art and meet and make connections with new people. The local art store I plan to work at is in the VCU plaza where many art students and teachers go to get their supplies as well as every other art student in the outskirts of Richmond. You can meet really good people there and meet the professors of colleges that you are going to apply to in a couple of years. Getting a responsible student already in their mind before even going to the interview is a massive plus. You don't have to be an art student to work at a place that could benefit you in the future. Working at a dance school or a book shop can help benefit you in the future to.

Sell Dog Treats at Your Local Dog Park

It's summer and the dog is just as hot as you are. You go out to take the dog to the local dog park and there is no refreshments for you or the dog! You've seen and heard of dog ice-cream, cookies, and cupcakes but wonder why no one ever sells them. This is a great idea for a summer job!

In this job, you can work as long as you like and spend your whole day with furry puppies! You can have refreshments for the dogs and owners that would help them cool down on a hot summer day. The dogs will remember the delicious cold treat you served them and will drag their owners with their leash back to your table!

Having cheap prices and many hot humans and dogs in a dog park is a gold mine! You can team up with your friends every day or once a week you can go down and serve refreshments. It will make people enjoy the outside more since they are not overheated making them want to go out more.

When I do this, I would like to give 50% of my earnings to the local SPCA or try to use that money to help dogs on death row get nice hair cuts and baths so they can get adopted instead of facing death. I wouldn't expect to make a lot of money out of this but I would feel really good about saving a dog's life and helping him/her find that forever home!

House-Sitting in a Wealthy Area

If you live in an area like me, there are tons of mansions and wealthy houses all around you. Sadly you are not wealthy, (lol),but that doesn't mean you can't get there! As a teenager who is trying to start the next biggest fashion business, I realized that I needed a lot of money to start out with. I don't I have a job because I am not yet old enough and I can't just ask my parents for thousands of dollars to do so.

It was then I realized while scrolling through Instagram that wealthy individuals go on a lot of vacations throughout the summer. A lot of the families go more specifically since they have kids which makes since. So I realized that their house was going to be left unattended for the time being. That was when I realized that I could make a profit

I plan to charge $10 dollars a day to clean the house, feed their pets, and make sure everything is tidy and all the daily chores need to be done. To help reason with the price, you should tell them what you would do with the money. In my case, I would tell them that I am putting it towards my fashion company. Although these people are rich, they can still sense a total rip off when they smell one and you can loose costumers. Why spend more money when you can use that to buy the latest shoes? Don't give them that thought in their head!
